Since the netiquette makes it almost indispensable, here is a page of a more personal nature. It doesn't have much to offer, for now, save for some pictures, from 2002 to 2009, and a series of rambling notes regarding my obsessions.

Digital photography is first among my hobbies. I use a Sony Alpha 700, although many of the pictures on this site (all those shot before 2008) were taken with a Sony F707, the best and most ingenious camera ever, from the point of view of ergonomics.

I love cars, and car racing has always come before soccer as my favorite spectator sport, especially the endurance races, such as those of the American Le Mans Series, and the European hill-climb races, like the Trento-Bondone. I have been a fan of Inter (F.C. Internazionale), ever since I was seven. Bobo Boninsegna was playing and winning then, with Giacinto Facchetti and Sandro Mazzola, while Steve McQueen was crashing his blue Gulf 917 in the early hours of the morning, in the movie Le Mans.

I'm a PC. I have owned one (or two, or four) since December of 1986. All the programs that I use every day perform best on a PC, and some are not available on other platforms: Dragon NaturallySpeaking, AutoHotKey, EmEditor, Audacity, and Forgotten Hope and Race07. I am retired from the army, now, and I've hang my Logitech Momo in the closet. However I found my way to an XBOX wireless wheel. My best times on the old uphill of Fujimi Kaido are 3:20.601, at my first attempt with this Audi R10 TDI (average speed: 138.72 km/h), and 3:27.299 (=134.24 km/h), driving the Acura ARX-01b #26 (not exactly like this one here, which is an LMP 2, but close enough, if you catch my drift).[1]

That's enough geekiness for one page, I believe.
